Booking Conditions
Check In/Out Times
The property is available any time after 2-00 pm on first day of occupation. Guests are kindly requested to vacate the property by 10-30am on the last day to allow adequate time for cleaning etc. Change-over day is Saturday for weekly stays – other arrangements can be made subject to availability or for short breaks.
Bookings & Payments
A booking for the let becomes firm when a 50% deposit and a completed booking form are received by Pencnwc House. Up until that time it is a provisional booking and provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 7 days. The full balance of the total holiday cost is payable not later than four weeks before the holiday begins. If the full balance is not paid on time, Pencnwc House reserves the right to cancel the holiday booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeited. If a booking is made less than four weeks before the holiday commences then the full payment is due at the time of booking. Cheques can be made payable to ‘D Phillips’. We also accept payment by bank transfer.
Cancellations
The reservation of a property amounts to making a contract. We advise that you should take out separate holiday cancellation insurance. The deposit is non-refundable and so too is the final payment if cancellation is within four weeks. At the sole discretion of Pencnwc House, the charge may be waived if we are able to re-let the cancelled cottages.
If for any reason beyond the owner’s control (e.g. fire damage) the property is not available on the date booked, all deposits will be refunded in full but clients shall have no further claim.
Visitor Accommodation Limitations
Accommodation is limited to the number of persons for whom the booking is made; the maximum number must not exceed the number stated on the website for the cottage in question. The client may have supplementary guests staying as visitors but should advise the likelihood of this to Pencnwc House in advance.
Animals
For the comfort and relaxation of all guests Pencnwc is animal free.
Personal injury and loss of visitor property.
The visitor or members of his/her party cannot hold Pencnwc House responsible for injury sustained or the loss or damage to any belongings during their stay at any one of the properties.
Complaints
Any complaints must be notified to the owners immediately, so that on-the-spot remedial action can be taken if needed. In no circumstance will compensation be made for complaints made after the tenancy has ended.
Pencnwc House right of entry.
Pencnwc House reserve the right to enter the cottage at any reasonable time for any reasonable cause.

The visitor must keep the premises and all the furniture, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the booking period and shall pay to Pencnwc House the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as they be incapable of being restored to their previous condition. It the client finds any damage on arrival the client should inform the owners immediately so that steps can be taken to rectify the situation. All breakages or damages should be reported as soon as possible. Loss of keys will result in a £10 replacement charge.
Should there be any discrepancy in the service provided within the property this should be reported immediately to Pencnwc House.
